Lorro Precision was set up by Laurence Symonds.

Laurence’s journey into precision machining began with a love of design and technology, combining technical skill with a designer’s eye. After studying Design Engineering at Swansea University, he completed a Master’s in Design Products at the Royal College of Art in 2014.

He founded Lorro Precision to help designers and makers source high-quality, bespoke CNC components with fast turnaround, always driven by a passion for problem-solving and improving processes.

Growing up in Cornwall, Laurence’s love of surfing taught him (much like catching the perfect wave) the beauty of mastering complex forces and chasing perfection! These lessons keep him inspired both in and out of the workshop.
